A. Provide students with a copy of Baa, Baa, Black, Sheep then read the poem aloud.
B. Read each line of the poem but allow the students to recite the last word of each line.
C. Ask questions about the text to encourage verbal participation of students. How many bags of wool altogether? What color is the sheep? Who will be receiving a bag of wool?
D. Brainstorm with the students and compile a list of things made from wool.
