Cut out the valentine along the outside, pink edge. Fold on the line to make a mini card that opens at the top.

For individual use
• Have children cut out and decorate a valentine for their friends and family members.
• On the inside, ask them to write something about that person that makes them special.

For classroom use
• Have the children write, "(child's name) is special because" on the cover of the valentine.
• On the inside ask them to write 1-3 things that makes their classmate special.
